Barbers shows almost a foot 18s of Tasman Sea energy. This is the start of the big Fiji swell we've seen on the social media. Below are the maps of March 3 through 5 that show the fetch that generated it. We never know how much energy we get from that part of the world, but you can see that on the 5th the fetch was SE of New Zealand and as such it had a much clearer path, so there's hope for good energy around Tuesday.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

NW swell came up nicely yesterday and still shows 6ft 13s at Pauwela, but should start to slowly decline throughout the day. Home guess for Hookipa is around double overhead.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
