Hookipa!

Somebody complained about the scarcity of the posts lately, so here is another one.
It was Sept 5th in Hookipa, there were wind and waves.
Talking about windsurfing kids (see two posts below), here is Bernd ripping at age 10 (or around that).

He's good, but a lot of credit goes to his dad for taking him at the beach every single hour off the school. Bernd, I hope you realize how cool of a dad you got!

Keith Teboul drew a few of those turns before opting for a surf session.

I like Kevin Pritchard because, even though he's a pro, he's always smiling and respecting the priority rules in the waves. Trust me, that's rare. Thanks KP!

Yes, it got crowded...

Last, but not least, here's Michelle getting worked by the shore break... good job!

This post is dedicated to Adele, Valerio and Rachel's first baby girl. Auguri!

Aloha,
Thanks for the kind words. The pictures are fantastic! We are so blessed to have Bernd in the water with us. My windsurfing has gotten better because of trying to keep up with him. If you want to see some pictures or video of Bernd check out his website at...

Glad to make everybody happy here!
Norm, cool website. I'll send the other photos to Bernd's email... as soon as I find the time.
Lim, you're so right regarding the kids outdoor instead of in front of a videogame...
A few other sailors are ok, but they were really too many. It can be dangerous and the energy is too competitive...

I had another amazing surf day. Too tired to post tonight. Better get some sleep, which is still one of my three favorite "s"...

I was impressed by Bernd's sailing. He is really progressing very fast, extreemly motivating to watch. (I guess he made it through the shore break just fine eh??!!)
