Saturday 8 28 21 morning call

Thanks to Charles for the donation.

Hookipa yesterday morning. There were bigger ones, up to chest high.

4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers

1.1ft @ 16s from 192° (SSW)
0.8ft @ 11s from 185° (S)

New small SSW swell is in the forecasts (2.2ft 15s predicted by Surfline tonight), but Barbers only shows 1.1ft 16s. Better than nothing. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

The windswell did go finally down and today the north shore will be borderline flat with some small waves at Pavils and on the eastern exposures.

Forecast and energy spectrum of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
