Tuesday 8 31 21 morning call

Gorgeous conditions on the south shore yesterday. This is Jason Hall.

3am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers

2.3ft @ 12s from 183° (S)
0.7ft @ 18s from 187° (S)

Southerly energy down to 12s while a bit of new 18s energy appears at Barbers. Below are the fetches of August 25 and 26 that show the fetch that could be the source. Overall, a smaller day that the past two, but there should still be some fun size waves.

Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Pauwela

1.8ft @ 9s from 82° (E)
1.8ft @ 7s from 63° (ENE)

Another flat day on the north shore.
