Hookipa yesterday morning.
Hookipa yesterday afternoon.
5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Lanai
- 2.2ft, 13s, S 170º
Barbers
- 4ft, 12s, SSW 195º
South swell yesterday was actually bigger than the day before. The webcam was down at the time of the post, so I couldn't point that out. Webcam over buoys, always. Today it's smaller, but still with beautiful and good size waves like the one below.
Check the Lahaina
webcam if interested, for size,
conditions and consistency.
North shore
NW001
- 3.4ft, 10s, NNW 330º
Hanalei
Waimea
- 2.5ft, 11s, NW 325º
- 1.2ft, 9s, NNW 335º
First NW swell of the season continues at the buoys. Home guess for Hookipa is around head high and clean in the morning.
Wind map at noon (2 days old prediction). The other ones can be found here.
