Friday 10 27 23 morning call

Hookipa yesterday. 16 days after my knee injury I got back in the water yesterday and I have some very exciting foils to test. Stay tuned.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

Good size southerly energy at the buoys while Lanai also shows a new long period pulse. Below are the maps of October 20 through 24 that show the fetch that generated it. Surfline calls it building up to 3ft 15s on Sunday.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Long lasting NW swell went down quite a bit, but still offers something. Home guess for Hookipa is waist to shoulder high and clean in the morning with no wind.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
