Saturday 10 14 23 morning call

Hookipa yesterday morning.

I have a knee injury and plenty time on my hands. So I shot this video that describes in detail my foil quiver.

NW swell still up at the buoys with 4.2ft 12s at Pauwela, while signs of a new long period one show at NW and Hanalei. Below are the maps of October 11 through 14 that show the fetch that generated it (black stick). Lots of angular spreading involved, that usuall means low consistency. This long period swell should slowly rise throughout the day and Surfline predicts 2.5ft 19s at sunset. Home guess for Hookipa in the morning is head to head and a half in the morning, possibly bigger at sunset. No wind in the morning and light onshores for the rest of the day.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
