A giant NW swell will be on the rise adding on top of the existing energy. Below are the maps of October 14 though 17 showing the fetch that generated it. Extreme winds and acting upon existing seas are the reason for the extremely large size. Pauwela is only sensing 2.3ft 22s of this new swell, but with 9ft 19s at the NW buoy, you can expect the swell to rise all day in the local water. Home guess for Hookipa is double overhead but likely still surfable and clean with no wind in the morning until around 10am. Too big for anything and light onshore in the afternoon.
Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
