Thursday 1 16 25 morning call

Hookipa yesterday afternoon.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

Lanai

Lanai shows small long period southerly energy, likely the start of a small out of season swell. The maps below of Jan 9 through 13 show the fetch that generated it. Not much on the cam yet, it should very slowly increase through the day and tomorrow.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

The buoys show relatively small NW energy for today before it gets XL again tomorrow. Home guess for Hookipa is around head high with occasionally bigger sets and no wind all day.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
