Friday 8 22 25 morning call

The F-One Plume is now available for sale at Hi-Tech in the sizes 3.5 and 4.2 (both sizes also available for rent). This is Pete Cabrina the day that I let him try one.
I ordered one myself as I like the freeriding aspect of it (and it's a lot easier than a parawing). I'm not a kiter but I always admired the kitefoilers and with the Plume I feel like I'm doing a mini version of it. I feel like a mini JD, actually!
We also received some Frigates, most of which sold immediately, I believe there's still a 3.5 available. Please call the shop and put yourself in the courtesy call list if you're interested in one.

Small 13-14s southerly energy at the buoys, with the addition of half foot of longer period energy. The latter comes from the partially angular spreading fetch below that happened August 15 and 16. Surfline only calls for a small swell.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Easterly windswell only in the water. Home guess for Hookipa is flat to knee high.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
