Less than two feet 13s left over from the big swells, we can consider them over, but there's been good size waves since the beginning of the month. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

The small short/medium period NE swell I announced way too early is finally at the buoys. It comes from the fetch of August 10 through 12 below. Surfline was calling for 3.7ft 10s in the morning building to 4.7ft 10s by sunset. Without Pauwela we don't know exactly what's in our waters, but all the other local buoys are slightly under that prediction. Home guess for Hookipa is around waist high with possible bigger sets.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
