Monday 9 1 25 morning call

Small waves did arrive yesterday afternoon on the north shore. Notice the number of Iwa birds on the background. I was out too and I've never seen so many, looked like a bit of a feeding fest, probably lots of fish in that area.
WSL finals streaming possibly on Youtube and if not here, starting at 9:30am.

The small Northerly energy at the buoys coming from the fetches we discussed yesterday is going to increase throughout the day (5ft 11s predicted by Surfline at sunset). Home guess for Hookipa is around waist high with occasional bigger sets in the morning, building to head high plus in the evening.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
