Interesting numbers at the local buoys. Unlike Barbers, Lanai doesn't report the long period swell, but I believe it's only a temporary thing. What's great is that 2.7ft 14s reading, which should provide with some consistency in between the slowly arriving long period sets. Below is a picture of the Lahaina webcam yesterday at sunset. That is obviously a long period set.
Btw, this is the tentative schedule of the HSA contest at Breakwall this weekend.

The NW buoy reading is due to the vicinity to the local low. Locally, we have a mix of small NW to NE energies that should make for another small day at Hookipa. Hard to guess the size, max head high but with smaller average size is my call from home. Won't be able to report, as I'll be driving to Lahaina in the dark, but the conditions should be very clean.
Wind map at noon. Notice the strong N wind in the Lahaina area that should start picking up around 9am. The model nailed it yesterday.
North Pacific has a tiny fetch associated with yet another nearby low that will cause the local winds to be light NE.
South Pacific has no fetches, with the exception of a wide one of strong SE trades. Irrelevant though, as the related windswell is going to be blocked by the Big Island.
