Lanai has been overall bigger than Barbers, as this swell is bigger to the east of the islands. Still plenty waves to be had, but smaller sizes than yesterday (which is probably a good thing for most spots between Ukumehame and Lahaina). The webcam shows at least head high, check it yourself before going, I'm sure there's still overhead sets. Notice that now the webcam offers the option to watch a slide show of the recap of day before.

Small 9s NNE energy at the buoy equals small waves at Hookipa. Waist to chest is my guess from home.

North Pacific has a NW fetch.


There's three strong lows in the South Pacific, but the area of winds oriented towards us (that's the definition of fetch) is pretty small in all of them. Unity is strength, so we should get energy out of them in a week.
