Old WNW swell is on the decline (11-13s) while a new NW pulse (15-16s) rises at the upstream buoys. Below is the map of Feb 16th that show the fetch that generated the new pulse, which, for a change, will come from an unblocked direction. Home guess for Hookipa in the morning is for head to possibly head and a half and declining, while the new pulse will only arrive in the afternoon. Notice the high windswell values at Mokapu and Hilo: east exposures will have waves.
