Saturday 2 22 25 morning call

Hookipa yesterday morning.

Kaa mid day.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

Lanai
      • 2ft
        , 12s, W 280º

      • 0.5ft
        , 15s, S 175º

Lanai shows half foot 15s of southerly energy plus a bit of west wrap. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

NW001

            • 5.4ft
              , 12s, NW 310º
            • 1.5ft
              , 16s, NW 305º

Hanalei

    • 3ft
      , 13s, WNW 300º
    • 2.7ft
      , 10s, NW 315º

Waimea

            • 4ft
              , 11s, NW 315º
            • 1.8ft
              , 8s, NNW 340º
NW energy at the buoys is down compared to the last 4-5 days, but the small 16s reading at the NW one suggests that it's just a transition day before it picks up again tomorrow. Home guess for Hookipa is around chest to head high and clean with no wind in the early morning.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
