Sunday 2 16 25 morning call

Hookipa yesterday afternoon.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Lanai
      • 3ft
        , 13s, WNW 295º

No southerly energy at the buoys, Lanai still suggests some possible west wrap. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

NW001

            • 5.4ft
              , 11s, NNW 330º

Hanalei

    • 7.1ft
      , 13s, NW 310º

Waimea

            • 6.4ft
              , 13s, NNW 335º
The buoys show solid 13s NW energy that should come down in period a second or two throughout the day. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half to double and clean conditions in the early morning.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
