First large NW swell of the season is showing solid numbers at the upstream buoys and is going to rise all day locally. It comes from the strong fetch in the maps of Oct 9 through 12 below. Home guess for Hookipa is  head and half and clean in the morning building to double to triple overhead by the end of the day.
