The N buoy and Waimea show short period northerly energy that should increase locally throughout the day. It comes from the fetch indicated by the black arrows in the maps of Oct 6 through 8 below. The red arrows point to a NW fetch instead that should have generated a small swell that will arrive the next few days. Home guess for Hookipa is around waist high in the morning, building possibly up to head high by the end of the day.
