The NW swell of the last couple of days is down to less than 2ft 13s at Pauwela, but there's a similar size one already on the rise (see NW buoy reading). It comes from the fetch indicated by the red arrow in the maps of Jan 17 through 19 below. The black arrow instead indicates a very similar fetch that made for another moderate pulse that will start overlapping tomorrow. Home guess for Hookipa is around chest to head high and clean in the morning, slowly building in the late afternoon to possibly overhead at sunset (2.7ft 15s predicted by Surfline at 6pm).
