Friday 5 20 22 morning call

Hookipa late afternoon.

4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers
3.5ft at 14s S 180º

Healthy southerly energy continues. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Hanalei
4ft @ 10s from 319° (NW)

Waimea

2.4ft @ 10s from 318° (NW)
0.9ft @ 11s from 304° (WNW)

Mokapu
3.9ft @ 8s from 84° (E)

After three mornings of snorkeling conditions, this morning there should be some NW waves at Hookipa in the waist to chest high range with possible occasional shoulder or even head high "bombs". Hard to guess without Pauwela.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
