No photos from yesterday, this is Cloudbreak posted by Tavarua Island Resort. Note that is not the long period swell from 180 we're receiving today. It might be 14s from 190 instead, so not much more to be expected from it.
This one instead was posted by Mataio and it's Tahiti on May 13th. This instead is the swell we're receiving these days, clearly a lot smaller after 4 extra days of travel.
4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
Lovely mix of 14 and 18s period south swells at Barbers.
Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for
size, conditions and consistency.
North shore
Mokapu
Easterly windswell declined greatly and it's still the only energy in the water on the north shore. That, together to the lack of wind, will make the snorkeling even more epic this morning.
Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
Fetches map (circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked, yellow: possibly over the ice sheet) from Windy.
North Pacific (about 4 days travel time from the NW corner of the North Pacific):
