No photos from yesterday. The WSL contest at G-Land started. I went there something like 8-10 years ago and wasn't ready for it at all. This was posted by Jadson Andre a couple of days ago in a day he called "the best surfing day of my life".
4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
3.4ft at 18s S 190ยบ
Remarkable reading at Barbers, south shore should be pumping. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for
size, conditions and consistency.
North shore
Waimea
1.5ft @ 9s from 338° (NNW)
Mokapu
4ft @ 6s from 97° (E)
Tiny and declining NW energy at Waimea and a bit of windswell from 97 degrees at Mokapu make me call for flat to waist high waves at Hookipa.
Wind map at noon. (1 day old) The other ones can be found here.
Fetches map (circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked, yellow: possibly over the ice sheet) from Windy.
North Pacific (about 4 days travel time from the NW corner of the North Pacific):
South Pacific (about 7 days travel time from east/west of New Zealand):
