Saturday 7 2 22 morning call

Hookipa yesterday.

I'm specializing in video that might interest an extremely small number of foilers. Here's a comparison between non A+ and A+ 85cm masts. Might be worth a watch, just for the epic wing downwinding conditions.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers

  • 1.1ft
    , 13s, S 180º

Small southerly energy at Barbers. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Mokapu

  • 5.6ft
    , 7s, ENE 70º

Windswell only in the water, home guess for Hookipa is around waist to belly high.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
