Wednesday 7 27 22 morning call

The lovely Tomoko left her BRM 3m wing at the harbor. Please contact her if you found it.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Lanai

  • 2.4ft
    , 12s, SSW 195º
  • 1.2ft
    , 15s, SSW 205º

Barbers

  • 1.8ft
    , 13s, S 180º

Small southerly energy at the buoys. Lanai also shows a bit of 15s Tasman sea energy, probably coming from the fetch in the map below of July 20th.

Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Mokapu

  • 5.9ft
    , 8s, E 80º

Decent 80 degrees windswell at Mokapu. Home guess for Hookipa is waist to belly, definitely bigger on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.

Fetches map
