Saturday 6 3 23 morning call

I found this picture on an old usb stick. I recognize the spot, but I don't remember that particular wave. That tells you how bad my memory is...

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers

  • 1.5ft
    , 14s, S 190º
  • 1.3ft
    , 9s, S 180º

Lanai

    • 1.7ft
      , 13s, SSW 200º
    • 1.2ft
      , 8s, SSE 160º
    • 0.4ft
      , 20s, SSW 210º

Small southerly energy at the buoys, while Lanai also shows a hint of new 20s SSW energy probably coming from the Tasman Sea fetch indicated in the maps below of May 27 through 29.

Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Even the easterly windswell is minimal, north shore is going to be flat today.
