Saturday 7 9 25 morning call

Foiling video of the day is this long review of the North Ranger parawing by Foilrat that also shows plenty downwind action. I'm selling a 3.2 here.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

        , 18s, SSW 205º

Small 14s southerly energy at the buoys while Lanai also shows 0.5ft of 18s energy from 205. It comes from the fetch east of New Zealand you can see in the maps of June 29th through July 1st below. Not the strongest fetch and Surfline only calls for 0.8ft 17s tonight and 1ft 16s tomorrow.

Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

            • 4.5ft
              , 6s, E 80º
One component of the windswell is coming from 55 degrees today and as such should reach our north shore better. Home guess for Hookipa is around waist to chest high.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
