11 11 15 morning call

Ah, that subtle pleasure not to have to think if here the month goes before the day or viceversa...

Thanks to John Patao for the photo of the day. I take it as a good omen to soon see some light at the end of the tunnel, which I do not see at all yet. Got to be patient...

Buoys 7am
Pauwela
9ft @ 10s from 61° (ENE)
3.9ft @ 5s from 76° (ENE)

First reading at Pauwela is just about perfect for one of my favorite spots to be going off. Oh well.

Barbers
4ft @ 7s from 139° (SE)
2ft @ 15s from 197° (SSW)
1.1ft @ 12s from 184° (S)

South shore not flat, check the webcam before going.

Gonna be another very windy day as the MC2km map at noon shows.

Small but strong NW fetch up there, while the fetch down south I pointed out yesterday did move to the east of NZ, but it also weakened quite a bit. We'll see what we (sorry, you) get in 7 days.

I figured you have time to read some comments so here goes.
- read your blog daily and recommend it to many. Very helpful. Still surprised some don't know about it
- sorry to hear about the rib cartilage injury. I'm sure you've done your own research but FYI many professional players (NFL/NBA) get similar rib cartilage injuries. These guys are usually back on the field/court in < 4 weeks (often much less). Read this:
http://instreetclothes.com/2015/01/08/understanding-deron-williams-rib-injury/
- some NFL guys come back in a week:
http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/177185/jim-tomsula-darnell-dockett-has-cartilage-injury-in-ribs
- my understanding is heat is the best treatment. Such as infrared heat or heat pads to increase circulation to injured area. So stay hot!
- hope you get better soon. Keep up the reports.
