Monday 1 13 20 morning call

Here's a photo recently taken by a friend of mine who shows a shark peacefully cruising through a Maui lineup. There's two ways you can look at it:
1) OMG, how scary is that!
2) OMG, how reassuring is that!

Just like cars on a highway, unless a mistake occurs, they're not dangerous are they? Same thing with the sharks. With the difference that the probability of a car accident is immensely higher than the one of a shark attack. Buckle up and be worried when you drive, not when you surf.

ENE windswell in slight decline, but still pretty solid. 2ft 16s of NW swell will not make it much better because, once again, the real problem is the wind. The groundhog days continue.
