The new NW swell started filling in yesterday afternoon. This is my pick of Jimmie Hepp's album.

South shore

Lanai
1.6ft @ 15s from 218° (SW)

Not sure that energy is really from the SW or the wrap of the NW swell hitting the Lanai buoy (but not Maui's south shore). Doesn't really matter, just check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency. Once in a while there's a nice wave like this one.

After something like 5 days of easterly energy only, today we have a mix of that plus something like 3ft 15s from the NW. Nothing major, but there will be overhead sets at Hookipa.
