Today is a transition day into a phase of weather change. There's three XL NW swells in the forecast and no trades till Christmas. The first one is not predicted to rise locally until tomorrow, so today we're dealing with the fun size NNE to NE energies you see at the buoys. Below are the maps of December 13 and 14 that show the fetch that generated the 13s NNE one.

Home guess for Hookipa is for head to head and a half high and clean with no wind pretty much all day (of course, at one point an onshore sea breeze will develop).

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
