New NW swell peaked at NW and Hanalei buoys at around 8ft 15s and should be peaking in our waters this morning. Below are the maps of February 9 through 11 that show the fetch that generated it (and a few more adding energy).
This is the Surfline forecast showing a local peak this morning at 6ft 16s.
Home guess for Hookipa based on that is around double overhead in the sets with still plenty overhead windswell in the mix. Finally a not too windy morning.
Sunset contest is on, this is the youtube streaming.
Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
Fetches map (circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked, yellow: possibly over the ice sheet) from Windy.
