North shore

Mokapu

    • 1.6ft
      , 13s, E 100º

Only easterly windswell on the north shore also today. Mokapu shows 1.6ft 13s from 100 degrees and that's the energy associated with the approaching tropical storm Calvin. Below is the Surfline forecast for next couple of days showing a peak tomorrow morning at 10.7ft 11s. The wind is predicted to blow strong from the NE-E during the whole storm, so I don't expect any epic glassy surf on the eastern exposures, but there might be moments of lighter wind during and after the rainpours.

Home guess for Hookipa today is waist to chest high and windy. Bigger on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
