Tuesday 4 5 22 morning call

These are my impressions after a second wing downwind run with the Armstrong HA525 and how I managed to silence it.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
No southerly energy at Barbers. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
NW001 (4am)

5.8ft @ 9s from 99° (E)
3.6ft @ 12s from 333° (NNW)

Hanalei

5.1ft @ 8s from 73° (ENE)
4.1ft @ 11s from 346° (NNW)

Waimea

2.9ft @ 13s from 331° (NNW)
2.1ft @ 8s from 27° (NNE)

Pauwela

5.1ft @ 9s from 88° (E)
4.7ft @ 11s from 348° (NNW)

NNW energy is relatively short period at the buoys but with an uptick in size. Home guess for Hookipa is head to head and a half and not quite as windy as it's been in the last few days.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
