Tuesday 6 21 22 morning call

Hookipa yesterday morning.

Hookipa yesterday evening.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers

2ft at 18s S 190º
1.6ft at 14s SSW 210º

The new southerly pulse is showing 2ft 18s at Barbers. Notice the direction is now 190, so this is the phase when the fetch moved east of New Zealand. The Tasman Sea swell is now down to 1.6ft 14s instead. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
NW101
2.2ft @ 10s from 330° (NW)

Waimea

1.5ft @ 11s from 327° (NW)
1.4ft @ 9s from 330° (NW)

Mokapu

3.7ft @ 8s from 75° (ENE)
3.6ft @ 6s from 87° (E)

NW energy down to minimal terms and declining. North shore should look more like summer from today on, home guess for Hookipa is for around waist high.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
