Wednesday 6 1 22 morning call

Cloudbreakwall was pumping yesterday morning.

I really wanted to catch one of those beauties at Breakwall and so I paddled out. It took me 30 minutes to catch a wave in the midst of a thick crowd of surfers waiting for my turn to be in position. Later in the day I did a wing downwinder that lasted 30 minutes too, but this time I was riding waves (although not as big/pretty) for the entire duration of it and without any other souls in sight. That's where I'm at right now.

Below is the Sports Tracker recap of the month of May. It's a bit of an old school app that doesn't have any foiling disciplines (what?!), so windsurfing is wing downwinders, biking is Foil Drive assisted SUP foiling downwinders and the hiking on the 19th was a bit of Foil Drive e-foiling.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

Second day of the big south swell, numbers are still pretty high and waves are still big. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.
