Wednesday 6 22 22 morning call

No photos from yesterday, this is Mataio in Tahiti. There's a big south swell on the way that should hit that island tomorrow (Surfline calls around 9-10ft 15s). We'll get that energy after 3-4 days of extra travel starting Sunday.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers

3.3ft at 15s S 190º
0.9ft at 11s S 185º

Southerly energy continues strong at Barbers. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Mokapu

4.2ft @ 8s from 72° (ENE)
4.1ft @ 6s from 83° (E)

Nothing more than easterly windswell, home guess for Hookipa is around waist high, bigger on eastern exposures.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
