Friday 10 29 21 morning call

Hookipa yesterday. Photo by Jimmie Hepp from this gallery.

Kai Lenny's latest vlog.

This is my new SUP foiling board. Been waiting for a board like this for quite a long time until one day I sat in front of Andres Martinez (Ding King/Maui Resin Designs) computer and we designed it together. I tested it yesterday and was blown away by its performance. 5.2x28.5x110L and 10.3 pounds! Big thanks also to Dave Kalama who designed my two previous boards, there's a lot of Dave's ideas in it.

One day a new board to try, the next day a new foil. Yesterday at sunset I was contemplating the fabulous shape of this Armstrong HA1325 that my favorite drug dealer just let me borrow and how it will ride, when a massive Iwa bird flew across the sky in total magnificence and showed me the way.

3am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
