Saturday 10 2 21 morning call

Hookipa yesterday afternoon.

Jimmie Hepp posted an album of the session from which I picked this photo.
3-4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers
1.7ft @ 15s from 192° (SSW)

Decent long period energy at the buoy, but it's Barbers, so you better check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Hanalei

1.8ft @ 11s from 348° (NNW)

Waimea
1.9ft @ 11s from 334° (NNW)

Kaneohe Bay
4ft @ 7s from 63° (ENE)

NNW energy down to just short of two feet and 11s. Home guess for Hookipa is waist to chest high.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here (click on animation of the 10 meter column).

Fetches map
(circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked, yellow: possibly over the ice sheet) from Windy.
North Pacific
