Sunday 3 20 22 morning call

Hookipa yesterday morning.

3-4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
No southerly energy at Barbers. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Hanalei
2.2ft @ 11s from 318° (NW)

Waimea
2.9ft @ 9s from 348° (NNW)

Pauwela

4ft @ 9s from 84° (E)
2.3ft @ 12s from 327° (NW)
2.1ft @ 5s from 74° (ENE)

NW energy down to minimal amounts at the buoys, today is going to be a small but clean day (no wind all morning) everywhere on the north shore. Home guess for Hookipa is for belly high. Some eastern exposures might get the easterly windswell waves.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
