Wednesday 3 16 22 morning call

Harbor yesterday morning.

Hookipa yesterday afternoon. Photo by Jimmie Hepp from this gallery.
5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers
2.2ft @ 2s from 177° (S)

I had to report that reading at Barbers, as it's the shortest period I've ever seen reported on the Surfline buoy page. There must really be nothing else in the water. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
NW101

4ft @ 10s from 328° (NW)
4ft @ 12s from 310° (WNW)

Hanalei
6.7ft @ 12s from 324° (NW)

Waimea
5ft @ 13s from 325° (NW)

Pauwela

5ft @ 13s from 324° (NW)
3.3ft @ 8s from 88° (E)

NW swell keeps lingering around at a very fun size. Home guess for Hookipa is head and a third to head and half.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
