New moderate long period NW swell on the rise all day. The 18s reading at Pauwela is from that one, not from the NE. Below are the maps of March 15 and 16 with an arrow to indicate the fetch that generated it. Doesn't look like much, but those are only two snapshots at midnight, the fetch might have got a lot stronger in between.


The new swell will become more and more visible as the day goes. In the morning it's going to be mostly about the remaining 12s energy from the previous swell. Home guess for Hookipa is for around head to head high.
