Friday 11 19 21 morning call

Hookipa yesterday morning.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
1.3ft @ 12s from 191° (SSW)

Very small southerly energy at Barbers. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
N
3.5ft @ 9s from 32° (NE)

Hanalei

3.9ft @ 9s from 355° (N)
1.2ft @ 13s from 338° (NNW)

Waimea

2.7ft @ 9s from 360° (N)
0.7ft @ 14s from 343° (NNW)

Small short period northerly energy at the buoys, home guess for Hookipa is waist to belly high with flat spells and relatively clean. The small waves reflect the lack of significant fetches of the last few days. Below is the collage of Nov 15 to 18. Only tomorrow new NW energy will arrive from the fetches you can see NW of us, but it's still going to be relatively small.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
