Wednesday 11 10 21 morning call

Beautiful waves on the south shore yesterday.

4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
2.2ft @ 17s from 187° (S)

Wonderful reading of long period energy at Barbers, south shore is the place to be today with many spots in the head to overhead high range. The fetch maps collage below (Oct 30 to Nov 4, already posted four days ago) shows that this is mostly angular spreading energy, so the consistency might be not particularly high.

Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
NW101
3.2ft @ 10s from 318° (NW)

Hanalei

2.1ft @ 11s from 311° (NW)
0.7ft @ 16s from 291° (WNW)

Waimea

1.5ft @ 11s from 320° (NW)
0.7ft @ 16s from 260° (W)

Very small NW energy at the buoys, today is going to be quite a small day for the north shore. Home guess for Hookipa is flat to waist high with possible occasional chest high ones.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
