Saturday 5 21 22 morning call

No photos from yesterday. This is an image from Ben Thouard.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers
2.7ft at 13s S 185º

Southerly energy down to 13s at Barbers. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency. There got to be some sets if there's all those people out, but it sure isn't pumping like it was all day yesterday.

There you go.

North shore
Hanalei

3ft @ 9s from 325° (NW)
2.7ft @ 8s from 26° (NNE)
0.6ft @ 14s from 302° (WNW)

Waimea

2.7ft @ 9s from 330° (NW)
1.1ft @ 11s from 323° (NW)
0.6ft @ 15s from 259° (WSW)

Mokapu
2.7ft @ 8s from 80° (E)

Small kine NW energy in the water, Hookipa should be smaller than yesterday, but still possibly waist to chest high. Not sure what the 14-15s half foot readings are from, but I don't think they're going to matter at all.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
