Tuesday 5 24 22 morning call

Hookipa yesterday had close to nothing.

In the quest for the ideal foil setup for wing downwinders, Sunday I did two runs with the HA525, one with a 60 fuse and one with a 50. This is the video I made.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

South shore
Barbers

1.4ft at 13s S 185º
0.5ft at 17s S 190º

Small southerly energies at Barbers. This is a tiny long period set from the fetch I posted yesterday, but there's occasional bigger ones. Check the Lahaina and Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Mokapu
3.6ft @ 8s from 80° (E)

Hookipa and the whole north shore are flat. Small waves on eastern shores.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
