The sizey and stormy northerly energy is decling at all the buoys and will continue to do so throughout the day. The NW buoy shows 3ft 16s of a new NW swell that will only arrive late tonight. Let's first look at the fetch that generated it in the maps of October 13 through 15 below.


This instead is the Surfline forecast, showing the swell arriving very late in the day, so it's more of a tomorrow's deal, as it's predicted to reach the solid size of 6.6ft 14s.
Home guess for Hookipa this morning is around head high instead. Maybe some small sets of the new NW swell at sunset.
