Monday 11 14 22 morning call

This section hit by Jackson Bunch during the contest yesterday at Hookipa shows the extremely challenging conditions: pretty much a giant mess due to the overlapping of two strong swells: a long period NW and a short period NNE.

NW swell peaked yesterday and today will be on the decline before another solid NW swell will start arriving tomorrow and peak on Wednesday at 7.7ft 14s from 330 according to Surfline. You can see the fetch on today's map below. NNE swell still offering just short of 5ft 9s. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half and still with irregular breaking patterns.
