No southerly energy at the buoys. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Three swells in the water today:
1) The short period NE swell is disappearing at Mokapu
2) Yesterday's NW swell is declining at all buoys. Now down to 3ft 12s at Waimea, it will continue to decline all day.
3) A new NW swell is rising and it's showing 4.4ft 15s at Hanalei.

Below are the maps of November 11 through 15 that show the fetch that generated the new swell. It formed in the Kamchatka corner (direction between 310 and 320) and it moved eastward across the great circle rays until it got in today's position (direction 340 to 350).

Below is the Surfline forecast that shows a peak tomorrow at 7.5ft 14s from 329..

So today is going to be a transition day with the old NW energy declining and the NW rising. Home guess for Hookipa is head to possibly head and a half.
