Wednesday 11 2 22 morning call

Hookipa yesterday morning.

Kane De Wilde gave my new foil setup a good test yesterday at Kanaha. Here he's coming in for a tune up while his dad Ivo foils out. Mom foils too, it's one of the many Maui foiling families. He loved my setup btw, he hit 33mph with his 6m in pretty light wind.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

Nice readings at the buoys. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Couple of feet 12s of NNW energy is in the water together with a 5.4ft 8s NE windswell. Home guess for Hookipa is around head high.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
